"We feel so lucky to have found Elenna.  She is an absolute gem, she has such a passion for her subject and is a patient, warm and really gifted teacher.  My daughter had enjoyed, and done well in Chemistry at GCSE level, but had lost her confidence at A-level.  It was hard to see how unhappy she was becoming and how negative about her own ability in the subject.  From her very first lesson with Elenna this all started to turn around and I was delighted to hear my daughter actually bubbling over with enthusiasm afterwards.

There has been an instant uplift in her test results, confidence and, most importantly of all, a weight has lifted as she is now enjoying the subject again.

Elenna has provided her with great follow up resources to lessons and set up a Google Classroom so she can easily access documents.  Elenna is completely flexible on covering whichever topic the student wants to work on and is so knowledgeable and well prepared that she is unfazed by any last-minute topic request. If you are looking for a Chemistry tutor you will not find better than Elenna. My daughter and I recommend her wholeheartedly!"

"I cannot recommend Elenna highly enough as a chemistry tutor. She tutored me for 10 weeks prior to my A level chemistry exams. Due to health problems, I had missed out on a significant portion of my GCSEs and therefore found chemistry quite difficult at A level. 

Elenna knew that my goal was to study medicine at university, and she helped close the gap I felt between my peers. She explained things to me in a way my chemistry teacher couldn’t and helped me work through past papers. Elenna was patient with me, and I saw improvement in my mock paper grades soon after her tutoring began. She really believed in me and made me feel more confident walking into my exam.

I went on to achieve a grade A in Chemistry A level and study medicine at university, something that would not have happened if it wasn’t for Elenna!"

"Elenna is organised and punctual, whilst teaching with clarity, patience and empathy. Content is explained clearly and so that you can figure out the answer for yourself. The extensive practice questions provided helps test any knowledge gained, whilst the high quality PowerPoints can always be accessed through Google Classroom. Lesson times, availability and content are always flexible, whilst each session is documented with specific feedback and helpful hints to improve performance.

I had lost much of my confidence at the end of year 12, feeling I was beyond the help even private tutoring could offer. Elenna increased my understanding and thus enjoyment in A-level Chemistry, helping me to achieve a grade B (from a D in year 12). I would genuinely recommend tutoring to someone who is struggling or would like an extra boost in this subject. "
